Mice and rats are intelligent, social, loving animals who form lifelong bonds, can feel love, happiness (they giggle when tickled!), fear and pain. And they def don’t want to be burned, blinded, poisoned or killed in product tests.
Dig this dose of adorbs then go order peta2’s “Animal Testing Breaks Hearts” pocket shopping guide so you know which products you buy are or aren’t tested on cuties like this guy—and ditch the ones that are!
Take Action!
Fast-food chain Steak ‘n Shake is airing a new ad featuring a young chimpanzee in a tuxedo.
Typical training methods for chimpanzees and other great apes used for entertainment—who are taken away from their mothers shortly after birth—include kicking, beatings with clubs, psychological abuse and intimidation to make the animals perform on cue.
Supporting animal actors is supporting animal abuse. Urge Steak N Shake to pull the ad and pledge to never use great apes in future ads!
