WTF of the Day: This Sunday, the Laton Lions Club is planning to release terrified bunnies, piglets, calves, lambs, and chicks into an arena where they’ll be CHASED by kids.
These animals are then given as prizes- MANY of the animals die within WEEKS because of neglect from families who weren’t ready to take on this responsibility.

Florida police officer and K9 handler George Sanford was reported by his fellow officers after PUNCHING HIS K9 PARTNER IN THE FACE during a narcotics training.
It was apparently recommended that Sanford—reportedly in violation of department policies—undergo counseling, but no dog should be left in danger in his care. Urge officials to reassign Sanford to non-animal duties now!
